Day 1 – Santiago

Day 2 – Santiago
City tour Santiago City tour Santiago The tour starts at the San Francisco Church, which was built between 1572 and 1618. Then we will continue to the Palacio de la Moneda, current seat of government. Then we will visit the Plaza de Armas, where we will see important national monuments, such as the Iglesia Catedral (The Cathedral Church), Correo Central (The Main Post Office) and the Municipalidad de Santiago (The City Hall). We will continue our trip going to the Cerro Santa Lucía (the Santa Lucia Hill), where the city was founded in 1541. We will then cross the Mapocho river and then pass through different residential districts giving us an overview of the city.
Day 3 – Easter Island

Day 4 – Easter Island
Full day Rano Raraku Volcano Tour Full day Rano Raraku Volcano Tour Rano Raraku volcano situated northwest of Hanga Roa, is one of the major and most valuable archaeological sites on the island. Here one can find the open quarry where the moais were carved. We will also pay a visit to Ahu Tongariki and Te Pito Kura, two archaeological monuments with their own characteristics. In the afternoon we will visit Nau, and we will enjoy a picnic lunch on Anakena Beach, a place for relaxation and swimming characterized for its warm very crystalline water, the luminosity of the surrounding atmosphere and the sea bottom with its coral reef sands.
Day 5 – Easter Island
Orongo Tour Orongo Tour In the morning a half day tour visiting Orongo, an ancient ceremonial village near to the crater of the Rano Kau volcano. This is the place where the most important ceremony of the second period of the island used to take place. We will also visit Vinapu, an archaeological area with two Ahus (ceremonial platforms) in ruins, one of which is of particular significance since the stonework of its walls bears a great resemblance to those to be found in Machu Picchu. Ana Kai Tangata, located on the cliffs south of Hanga Roa, in the area called Mataveri, is a spacious cavern, which has paintings of birds (manu) on the roof tiles.
Day 6 – Easter Island
Ahu Akivi Half Day Tour With this tour you visit the Ahu Akivi, Ana Te Pahu Cave and the Puna Pau Quarry. Ahu are the platforms on which the Moai were erected. Moai are monolithic human figures carved by the Rapa Nui faces of Easter Island. Ahu Akivi is the large platform with the 7 restored Moais. Legend has it that the 7 statues represent the first explorers of Rapa Nui sent by King Hotu Matua. Next you will visit the Ana Te Pahu cave of volcanic gallerie where you will be able to see some different plant life. Ending the trip is Puna Pau Quarry where the natives carved the Pukao, the hats or topknots placed on top of some of the Moai statues.
