San José is located at an elevation of 3000 feet above sea level in the Central Valley. Nearly half of Costa Rica’s 4 million inhabitants live here; modern buildings are taking over the former colonial structures. This cosmopolitan capital of Costa Rica is filled with department stores, shopping malls; it also has several excellent museums, great restaurants, colorful markets and a pleasant climate.

Poás Volcano National Park is the most visited park in the Costa Rican National Park System. It features two impressive craters: one active and one that has a lovely Crater Lake.

La Paz Waterfall Gardens: This is a Nature Park and Wildlife Refuge with an altitude ranging from 4,300 feet (1,320 meters) to 5,000 feet (1,540 meters) which provides an ideal climate for both cloud and rain forest to coexist.

Arenal Volcano: At the center of a national park in the northwest of the country, the perfectly conical, 1633m (5356ft) Arenal volcano is the image of a typical volcano. The volcano has been exceptionally active since 1968

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the rainforest and experience its peacefulness as we quietly paddle the Peñas Blancas River. Monkeys, sloth, iguanas, crocodiles and numerous tropical birds await you.

Quepos and Manuel Antonio are two separate but completely interdependent central Pacific coast towns. Quepos is a good-sized town with about 7,000 permanent residents, a large hospital, banks, markets, stores, hotels, bars, restaurants, and a main bus terminal. Manuel Antonio to the south is much smaller and extends along both sides of the road that stretches 4 1/2 miles up the hill and then down to the Manuel Antonio National Park.

This is a Sample Travel Vacation Package we have created for Groups in the past.
